Extension of Benefits – COVID-19
The Board of Trustees of Teamsters Managed Trust Funds has allocated certain Trust Fund reserves to establish a COVID-19 Pandemic reserve account. This account has been established to provide a one-month extension of medical benefits between May 2020 through September 2020 to plan participants who have been laid-off or experienced a reduction in work hours due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Please be advised that the Board of Trustees will continue monitoring this situation and has the right to terminate this one-time temporary extension of medical benefits at any time deemed appropriate and necessary based on the Trust Fund’s reserves.
